Habit Stacking

Routine is key to successful living. Habits build confidence and progress towards our desired outcomes. Whether these habits are around self care or fitness your relationship or anything else.

Start small
Keep it simple
Be Realistic time commitment and when you will do it in your day. consistency is what is important and it needs to fit into your life easily.
Remember your why
Be persistent it can take a while to make it stick and be engrained in what we do.
Build on your established good habit with more. This is time saving as well as helping you remember.

The difference between being good and being excellent is not just having good habits but also having non-negotiables. These are core values and principles for living. They are who your are and what you stand for.
Theses things happen everyday, every week, every month, year on year. That is how we make real lasting change, consistency, progress and how we cultivate a culture of success that drives success.

Some of my Non-negotiables are:

Probiotics every morning
Core sessions at least twice a week (aim is 3)
Spending time in Nature everyday
Doing weight training every week
Having a minimum of 8 hours sleep ( aim is 9/10)
I don’t skip meals ( packed lunches if needed)
Read and journal everyday
Cold/heat therapy everyday
Stretching and mobility everyday (aim is twice)

My why is my self care is a priority. My gut health, staying injury free, regulating my nervous system and my mental health. These keep me holistically healthy.
